Comment: I am interested in finding out the instrument that is mentioned here....And that old R&B hit, "Smiling Faces" from the '70s, that has an instrument that sounds like a 12-string but it's not: an odd one I've never heard before or since to my knowledge. Comment: After having a cassette of the undisputed truth-higher than high for over 20yrs before it ended up being destroyed by my ex 3wks ago(also knowing it was the best album i have ever owned) i find myself now trying to replace the album with a cd version and clicked on this site 1st after my search. i am impressed on what information you have on them and also impressed on the albums that are available to which i didnt even know existed till now...i thought i had the one and only album and was proud i had kept it in such good condition now only to find it was one of twelve..well i dont care ill check them all out now and thanks to you and your great site for showing me who and what THE UNDISPUTED TRUTH are.

Comment: UK DJ Tony Blackburn got me started with
the UT by choosing "Save my love for a rainy day" as his
pick of the week on BBC's Radio 1. Sadly it never charted
in the UK, and neither did the US smash Smilin Faces Sometimes.
However the UT charted in the UK with You + Me = Love in
January 1977 making #43 in its four weeks stay. Odd that
the group only charted once in US and UK and with different
tracks from different eras. For me so many great tracks,
but "If I die" is right up there with the three mentioned
already and "Loose", "Help Yourself".
Nice to see this site, and thanks for the opportunity to add my comment
on a great group that most people have never heard of these days.

music of the undisputed truth was an old soul-tv-show from
the early seventies broadcasted by MTV Europe in 1999. I
watched Tv together with my girl and I zapped trough the
channels and then Booom! ... after the track, I think it
was "Boogie Bump Boogie", the moderator talked about the
new longplayer "higher than high". after that I consulte
a lot of record stores and find at first "cosmic truth" and
that was of course a very lucky handshake ...
my favourite songs are: poontang, overload, got to get my hands on some
lovin´ and a lot more.
